Trivial things I find annoying.
Opening a ‘selection’ of ‘almost perfect’ broken biscuits only to find that contrary to the picture on the packet, there are only two types inside and I don’t like either of them.
Following a ‘Fossil’, (old person) in an oversized car, too small to see over the steering wheel, gripping it for dear life, knuckles white, trundling along, at a steady 23mph, regardless of any speed limits, on a country road where I dare not overtake. All the way home.
Hearing the cat use her most shrill voice to ask for food, then ignoring it and shrilling even more loudly for no apparent reason. What does she want?!
Being followed around the house, all day, by the dog, when it’s raining, imploring me with her deep green-blue eyes to take her out. Leaping up hopefully, when all I am doing is getting a cup of tea and sitting back down resignedly when I fire up my laptop, giving me resentful glances from time to time and making me feel guilty.
Arriving at the post office, laden with packages in the rain and finding them closed due to lack of interest, lunch – or my watch being two minutes slow.
Leaping out of my skin in the middle of the night, turning over to find the dog/child silently staring at me like a ghost.
Running out of Tea bags.
